Seesaws
Tradition springs to life
The seesaw is one of the most iconic and classic pieces of playground equipment. From school playgrounds to community park playgrounds, children love the up and down ride of a seesaw. For centuries it was also one of the most basic piece of playground equipment: a plank balanced on a central support. Then along came the Springer. The Crazy Hen is not a seesaw, but KOMPAN’s design team instantly saw that the spring as a support had immense potential, especially if you employed more than one. The KOMPAN seesaw range uses two, three, and even four ground-embedded springs to create movement that is not confined to just up and down, much like a teeter totter, which can move horizontally and hold multiple seats.
KOMPAN offers quality seesaw playground equipment in different shapes and sizes, including traditional and springer seesaws. With our multi-user commercial seesaws, even more children can join the fun.
