Over the summer, Landon Park in San Marco will be getting a much-needed face-lift.
The city of Jacksonville is moving forward with plans to make Landon Park ADA compliant. Old playground equipment will be removed, as room is made for KOMPAN structures. The new equipment is designed for various groups, and for people of all abilities. District 5 Councilwoman Lori Boyer said "The goal is to have something commmunity children enjoy. This area was designed to be a neighborhood park that residents could walk to from various parts of the community. We want to have a variety of things that appeal to different ages."
